Colorless Flat Glass
These glasses, which have a colorless and transparent structure, are produced as plates with floatation technique. Colorless flat glass which is suitable for use in all sectors can go through processes such as trimming, drilling, pressing, tempering, laminating. All colorless flat glasses we supply are of architectural quality (TS EN 572-2).
Therefore, whether the glass is supplied from the internal market or not does not pose a problem in measuring its quality. Colorless flat glass is one of the basic products for all glass applications. It also provides high thermal and light transmittance thanks to its transparency. It can be produced in different thicknesses and sizes.
Components such as soda, limestone and silica sand are mixed and melted in special furnaces; then the molten glass transferred to the tin pool is floated in the molten tin and the two surfaces are brought to flat and parallel level. Afterwards, the glass ribbon taken from the tin pool is cut after reducing the temperature in the annealing furnace. They are cut in desired sizes; stored in blocks and shipped.
